As soon as she saw this house in Nashville,Tennessee, Adora knew it was the house for her, and her biggest indulgence was having it professionally painted pink.

image

She loves coming home to a pink house and stepping out on her pink porch.

image

As soon as you walk thru the front door, there’s a big gold cage that indicates the decor is unique. I wonder if it’s an old elevator.

image

She says her decor is selectively curated vintage, b/c her choices are unique. She describes the style as “Hollywood regency mystique meets 1970s opulence, with some kitsch and borderline gaudiness depending on which room! But always glamorous, luxurious, and comfortable!”

image

Instead of a living room and dining room, she chose to have 2 living rooms, b/c she prefers lounging to anything formal.

image

She looks for credenzas, end tables, and nightstands that have storage, b/c the older home only has one closet, so she keeps clothes everywhere.

image

Her biggest inspirations are mostly a mixture of a few of her favorite 1960s and ’70s Palm Springs time capsule homes,

image

She painted her kitchen appliances and countertops, and also hung the shelves.

image

Painting the cabinets pulled it all together.

image

Adora doesn’t give decorating advice b/c she feels that decor is so personal.

image

She says that the only mistake people make with color is being afraid of it. But, she adds that if you like white and neutrals that can look good, too.

image

And, she says to remember that texture pulls a room together.

image

Her favorite piece is her 1970s red round bed. She bought it from a woman who bought it directly from a furniture store in the 70s and Adora’s only the 2nd owner.

The bathroom was recently remodeled, which included a claw foot tub. That tile!

Omega : Wrecker what's this?

Wrecker : I believe it's a . . . Ball? A very small ball?

Wrecker : You don't have to ask me twice, kid.

Tech *repairing the ship* : Whatever you two are doing just please don't lead your actions towards me.

Wrecker *sarcastically* : Whatever you say . . . CATCH!!!

Tech : Wrecker this isn't a ball it's . . . A DETONATOR.

Verdict: Alex Jones owes $45.2 million more to Sandy Hook in punitive damages. That's on top of $4.1 million in compensatory. That's $49.3 million to two Sandy Hook families. Two more trials after this. Unanimous verdict (what's required for punitive damages). — Ben Collins (@oneunderscore__) August 5, 2022ALT

For those who are lacking context, Alex Jones is an alt-right radio show host and conspiracy theorist behind InfoWars and the Alex Jones Show. Jones has provided a platform and support for white nationalists. He supported Donald Trump's presidential bid.

Jones has been claiming for years that, among other things, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting has been basically falsified by the US government, and that the parents of dead kids were actually just crisis actors and their children never existed.

The shooter killed 26 people at Sandy Hook, 20 children and 6 staff, and they were very much real people. Their families had their pain multiplied due to Jones' actions. His followers harassed and threatened the families for years.

You can find the basic rundown of the conspiracy theories and the harassment of families and people involved in the tragedy here. The father of one of the victims, Lenny Pozner, was harassed so severely that he founded HONR Network to assist victims of online hate and harassment.

A contributor to InfoWars was arrested in n January 2020 for unauthorized possession of personal information of Pozner. He was attempting to share his dox with a long list of very bad people.

I'm simplifying the situation because a lot of people have asked me about what was going on and who Alex Jones was, since I've been posting about the trial. This is just the first trial. There are more to come.

Seen a lot of Law & Order, haven't seen a twist as good as "Alex Jones' lawyers accidentally sent Sandy Hook parents' lawyers the entire contents of his phone and his long-hidden financials, but they waited 12 days to let him lie" in my life. Just an absolutely wild day. — Ben Collins (@oneunderscore__) August 3, 2022ALT

One of the trial highlights was definitely his lawyers sending the opposing counsel the entire contents of his phone, among other things.

Alex Jones' ex-wife here, and I'm going to subpoena this data! Won a jury, lost my kids for blowing the whistle on infowars. Subpoena request will go out t o d a y.https://t.co/uu90cvQuOl — Kelly Jones (@RealKellyJones) August 3, 2022ALT
The January 6th Committee has requested copies of the files from Alex Jones’ defamation trial that his attorneys “accidentally sent” to opposing counsel. It appears perjury is now the least of his concerns. Karma, your table is ready & it’s going to be a big fucking meal. 😂 — The Jewish Ginger Resister (@JewishResister) August 4, 2022ALT
